The butterfly is not rare in montane forest at moderate to high elevations (Alt. 1100m - 1800m).
The examination of male genitalia is necessary to identify species of this genus.
Therefore, records based only on markings are unreliable and have not been adopted.
According to Kishi et al,2021, the individual from C.Vietnam seems to be slightly different.
I tentatively treat it as this taxon, but taxonomic study is needed.
