Chiang Rai : 1♂.
The butterfly is not rare in montane forest at moderate to high elevations (Alt. 1100m - 1800m).
According to Kishi et al.,2021, the individual from C.Vietnam seems to be slightly different. I tentatively treat it as this taxon, but taxonomic study is needed.
The species of this genus are so similar that identification by male genitalia is required. Therefore, records that do not examine the male genitalia cannot be adopted. In addition, although there are many field photos, most are either misidentified or unidentifiable and therefore cannot be used as records.
