Notes

The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 30 - 350m). Both sexes visit flowers.
The records from the continental region, Chonburi and Chanthaburi, are probably misidentifications of Pyroneura margherita. Further distributional research is needed.
