New to Thailand. The first discovery from Thailand was a photo taken by Satawan Atdhabhan on 6.May.2013 in Betong district, Yala.
The butterfly is locally and seasonally common in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 350 - 550m) and is often found around streams. Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
