The first discovery in Thailand was a photo taken by Antonio Giudici on 19.July.2014 and a specimen was obtained by Satawan Atdhabhan on 27.Jun.2019 in Betong Dist., Yala.
The butterfly is uncommon in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 550 - 650m).
