Notes
The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at low to high elevations (Alt. 400 - 1700m) and is often found along forest paths.
Males occasionally come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
Females are relatively common than males and come to rotten fruits.
It's flight is not fast and rests on leaves of shrubs.
The population from Nakhon Nayok is slightly paler orange markings on the upperside than northern populations.
