The butterfly is common in montane dense forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 400 - 1000m). This subspecies has a thinner white band on the UpF than ssp.amplifascia. The sympatricity of both Thauria aliris and Thauria lathy has not been confirmed. Further distributional research is needed. |
