The butterfly is locally uncommon in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 200 - 350m).
Except for the record of Godfrey,1930, all the other records are from the southernmost part of the peninsular Thailand.
Thus, record from 'Takuapa' is somewhat doubtful.
Further distributional research is needed.
