The butterfly is rather localized and uncommon in montane forests at high elevations.
The first discovery in Thailand was recorded in photos taken by Toshiyuki Aoyama, Masakazu Hayashi & Y.Inayoshi in Chiang Mai province on 14.Feb.2015.
