In Thailand, this species is thought to have been introduced with vegetables from Myanmar or other countries as Kimura et al. (2011) pointed out. In the 1970s to early 1980s, it was common in highland vegetable fields at Doi Ang Khang, Chiang Mai. However, there are no recent records, and it is possible that it was eliminated by pesticide spraying.
