The butterfly is locally common in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 30 - 350m). Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
The photo record from Phetchaburi is likely to be this taxon, however official identification is pending due to lack of specimens. A detailed comparison by specimen is needed.
