The butterfly is locally not rare in montane and secondary forests at low elevations (Alt. 50 - 300m).
Ek-Amnuay,[2007],2012 recorded it from 'Kapoe (Ranong)' but this is rather doubtful. I have not seen any specimens outside Yala. Further distributional research is needed.
