This butterfly is very rare in montane forests and only the type specimen is known. The female is unknown.
This taxon has a very wide marginal border on the UpF and a very pale ground colour on the underside. These characters are quite unique in all of evansi.
The record from Laos appears slightly different from the type specimen. Further distributional research is needed.
