Notes
The butterfly is uncommon in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 400 - 1200m).
In Ranong, both ssp.arata and individuals that very similar to ssp.ace are found sympatrically, but the upper surface colouration is close to that of arata.
This area is considered to be a transition zone for both subspecies.
