Notes
The butterfly is locally common in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 10 - 400m).
In general, the populations from Yala to Pattani have rather darker ground color on the upperside.
On the other hand, the population of Ranong is variable in color; generally paler than those of the southernmost specimens.
It appears to be slightly closer to ssp.meritatas.
