Notes
The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at moderate elevation (Alt. 700 - 1300m) and is occasionally found at hilltops.
Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
The individuals that having dark markings in space 4 and 5 on the UnH occur frequently.
The ordinary form is indistinguishable from allied species by the underside markings.
The color on the upperside or the male genitalia needs to be examined.
