Notes
The butterfly is common in montane forest at low to high elevations (alt.400m - 1600m).
A male specimen showing above in Lampang has prominent white patch on the upperside of the both wings. however the genitalia is definitely this species. It seems an extreme dry-season variation. And I treat population in Phetchaburi as this subspecies provisionally, however only a few examples have been examined. Further taxonomic study is needed.
