Notes

The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at moderate to high elevations (Alt. 1000 - 1700m) and is often found on the forest edge along streams. Males occasionally come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
It is very similar to Neptis soma, however, the size is almost the same or slightly smaller than Neptis clinia.
