This taxon was known from only one record from Doi Inthanon, Chiang Mai, N.Thailand and was rediscovered by Antonio Giudici in another district of Chiang Mai province.
The butterfly is locally uncommon in montane forests at high elevations (Alt. 1700 - 2590m).
