Notes
The butterfly is common in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 100 - 1000m).
Males are territorial on shrubs or undergrowth.
The specimens from peninsular Thailand, Ranong to Yala, are smaller than those further north, as noted by Evans,1949.
The species of this genus are so similar that identification by male genitalia is required.
Therefore, records that do not examine the male genitalia cannot be adopted.
In addition, although there are many field photos, most are either misidentified or unidentifiable and therefore cannot be used as records.
