Notes

The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 50 - 1000m). Both sexes visit flowers.
Zhang et al. (2022:40) suggested that the genus Notocrypta should be treated as a subgenus of the genus Ancistroides based on molecular analysis.
