Notes
The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 550 - 1000m).
Males occasionally come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
Although the morphology of the male genitalia suggests that this taxon is likely to be included in Pedesta, I tentatively treat it as Thoressa since DNA analysis has not been performed.
Further taxonomic and distributional studies are needed.
