Notes

The butterfly is locally not rare in secondary and montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 100 - 1000m) and is often found at forest edges and grasslands. Males are territorial on undergrowth. Both sexes visit flowers and males occasionally come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
