Hesperiidae - Addendum

The following species were recorded from the Indo-Chinese region in previous publications, however were omitted from the list for the reasons written below.

Coladenia laxmi laxmi (Nicéville, [1889])
[ THAILAND ]
Coladenia laxmi ; Godfrey,1930 : 364-365. (Prae: Me Song forest)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Only one record from Thailand is known from the list in Godfrey (1930). There are a number of questionable records from "Prae [Phrae]" in the list, but these may be an erroneous locality.

Celaenorrhinus munda maculicornis Elews & Edwards, 1897
[ THAILAND ]
Celaenorrhinus maculicornis ; Godfrey,1930 : 358. (Muak Lek; Chonburi: Sriracha; Chiang Rai)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This taxon is known from Sikkim, Assam to Myanmar and Godfrey (1930) recorded from Thailand. However, it is possibly a misidentification of Celaenorrhinus putra as Kimura et al. (2011) pointed out. Pinratana (1985), Ek-Amnuay ([2007],2012) also recorded it, but all these records are misidentifications. Furthermore, it was recorded from Vietnam by Devyatkin & Monastyrskii (1999), but that is also considered to be a misidentification. Therefore, I delete it from the list.

This taxon was recorded from "Peninsular Thailand" by Pinratana (1985). However, no photographs or details of specimens are available. Ek-Amnuay ([2007],2012) recorded it from "Yala", but the figured specimen was from Malaysia. No reliable specimens have ever been obtained from Thailand. Therefore, I remove it from the list until new reliable specimens are obtained in the future.

This taxon is known from W. Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra and Bangka and was recorded by Maruyama (1991). However, the record lacks a photo and details of the specimen. Therefore, I remove it from the list until new reliable specimens are obtained in the future.

[ THAILAND ]
Lotongus sarala quinquepuncta ; Pinratana,1985 : 85. no fig. (list only)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ek-Amnuay ([2007]) recorded this taxon from "Nan". But at least it is not chloe. Subsequently, Ek-Amnuay (2012) recorded this taxon again from "Nan". However, the specimen photos are from W.Malaysia by Eliot (1992: pl.59). It is unlikely that this taxon could be found in Nan in terms of distribution. Therefore, I remove it from the list.

Polytremis minuta ; Ek-Amnuay,2012 : 902, pl.417, fig.H288,♂. (no loc.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pinratana (1985) recorded this taxon from "Thailand" by a single male specimen with unknown details. However, due to lack of certainty, I remove it from the list until new reliable specimens are obtained in the future.
