Notes
The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 600 - 1300m).
Males are territorial on trees at hilltops and often settle on trunks of trees.
Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
They often rest on the underside of leaves with their wings spread.
