Notes

The distribution map of Thauria aliris and lathy
Thauria distribution

The butterfly is common in montane dense forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 400 - 1300m).
Kimura et al.,2016 recorded Thauria lathy gabrieli female at Chiang Dao, however I have never seen reliable male specimens of lathy until now and I suspect it should be this species.
The sympatricity of both Thauria aliris and Thauria lathy has not been confirmed. Further distributional research is needed.
